Missing

I haven't been around because I've been working.

For the last few months I've been working at
www.portalaventuras.pt, an online portal about adventure sports and tourism.

It isn't my dream job but is the only internship that I got. I've been searching for something new, but it has been difficult.

I miss working on my crafts and admiring other people's work.

I hope I have some time soon.

While they play…

She makes amazing stuff. She knits and crochets. She is a mom of three Z's.

I fell in love with this bonnet she made and I’ve been saving to buy it and I finally got it.

French bonnet

She also makes tutorials for the ones who know how to crochet.

If you are curious here is her blog and shop.

What now

I'm done with college, I have a degree in journalism (I still have 2 exams in September) and so, as everyone else I started to look for an internship.

Sent lots of curricula, to everywhere I thought I may like to work, went to interviews, had some really bad experiences and in the end no internship.

I started to think outside the box, I need to get some job doesn't matter what but I need something to make some money to gain some independence. After responding to some ads I still don't have a job.

What is wrong with me? Does nobody want a college graduate working for them or the problem is only me.

The worst part of this its waiting for the answer, to know if you get the job or not. I'm going crazy sitting around, checking my email every minute and always having my cell phone on and around.

I need to do something with the spear time. I thought of doing my crafts but my sewing machine is broke and I have little supplies of yarn and beads.

I discovered something I wanted to do K. from While they play request people that may want to test her patterns. Since I don't have much to do I going to apply.

Tea Room

Last May I had a paper at college for my photojournalism class. The idea is to tell a story using only picture and sound (music or narrative - I've used too).

I choose a Tea room called Ó Chá that has oriental inspiration.

I decided to share some of the photos (they are so many that it was quite difficult for me to choose the ones I was going to use).

Hope you'll like it.

Geninne

A few days ago I was looking for something on flickr (don't remember what) when I came across with some beautiful art work, so, because I'm curious a saw the person's entire photostream and then I went to her blog and got even more delighted.
Her name is Geninne, she lives in Mexico and does some amazing drawings and paintings. She also does amazing things with fabric, like totes, penguins, chickens, mobiles. And she does stamps also (I love her stamps SO MUCH). Here is a small part of the amazing thing she does.

But of all the things she makes I have a soft spot for these jars:Everything about Geninne means colours and imagination, take a look at her studio.
If you like what you've seen and want to see more you can go to her blog http://blogdelanine.blogspot.com/ or her flickr account http://www.flickr.com/photos/geninne/. If your REALLY like what you see go to her etsy shop geninne.etsy.com and buy something.
